The responsibilities of ISL Teachers may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Following the lesson plans
- Teaching students
- Managing the classroom
- Promoting positive student behaviour
- Ensuring the safety and security of the students
The Behavioral Coach/Specialist of PK-5 students

Salary from EUR 1958 gross depends on previous work experience and acquired educational degree, comprehensive medical and accident insurance.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
● A minimum of Bachelor’s; Master’s preferred
● Either a Teacher certification in Special Education; or certified (clinical or school)
counsellor, or school psychologist, or licensed or certified Behavioural specialist or analyst;
● Experience working with students with mild to severe learning needs and behavioural
needs;
● Experience in administering assessments and screeners to evaluate student behaviour
● Experience as an overseas educator in an international setting;
● Strong organisational and technology skills;
● Excellent oral and written communications skills;
● Outstanding human relations skills, including a positive attitude;
● Commitment to collaborative teamwork.
Potential Tasks and Responsibilities:
1. Support for Students:
● Both individual and group sessions to support behaviour goals;
● Teaching lessons about Social and Emotional Skills across the Elementary School;
● Support students in ISL’s curriculum
● Intervene in occurrences of inappropriate behaviour of students for the purpose of
assisting students in modifying such behaviour and developing successful
interpersonal skills;
● Engage in social skills training (focus on functional communication) sessions with
students.
2. Support for Staff and Parents:
● Act as a resource for teachers seeking support for behaviour management;
● Provide staff training in supporting inclusive teaching and technical assistance of
behaviour support to administration and teachers;
● Present information on various topics related to behaviour management for the
purpose of communicating information to teachers, parents, and students;
● Assist staff in defining and measuring behaviour, understanding principles of
reinforcement, teaching replacement behaviours, implementing strategies for
weakening behaviour, and identifying antecedents, consequences, and strategies for
behaviour management;
● Facilitate team meetings;
● Closely collaborate with ES Counselor and Learning Support to support positive
behaviours;
● Collaborate on designing behaviour support plans and/or Individual Education Plans;
● Address classroom organisation, effective instruction, and social skills.
