this unit has taught many of us how our Grammar is being put in good place. i have learnt a lot from how we differentiate between subject and an object in a sentences. many at times i do take both as one thing. and with the help of verb , i can figure out what verb can be used in a sentences. now i can understand any parts of speech in any sentence i come across as far as grammar is concerned.I learned in unit 7 teaching receptive skills which include listening and reading and also productive skills which include speaking and writing. Motives for reading : for a purpose, entertainment. Predictive skills, specific information,skimming, detailed information, deduction from context. I studied also problems with listening and reading, preteaching vocabulary, careful selection of texts.
