Teach English in San Jose, Costa Rica

Unit two dealt mainly with recognizing and classifying the parts of speech. We learnt about the five types of nouns, countable and uncountable nouns. We met the definite and indefinite articles, as well as comparative and superlative adjectives. We got quite a lot of information on verbs, adverbs,gerunds,pronouns,prepositions and conjunctions. At the end of the unit, it is somewhat easier to classify every word in a sentence.This Unit covers vocabulary, grammar and functions. It includes the teaching of new vocabulary while incorporating it with structuring it with correct grammar and proper usage. this is important because the student needs to understand correct grammar usage and how to utilize new vocabulary learned into correct usage. Once the student can understand the basics of grammar, the he/she can build usage through new words learned.
