Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

We have various teaching aids available to assist in making the lessons more interesting. This also allows us to be less dependent on textbooks. It is important to know which equipment is suitable for the situation in the classroom. We also need to make sure, prior to the lesson, that the equipment is in proper working order and to have an alternative plan should a problem arise and prevent the teacher from using it.Initially this unit seems quite confusing until you work through the practical examples which simplify it. The practical examples show the forms of the various verbs, how the verbs are ordinarily used in sentence construction and when there are exceptions. The examples also give examples of typical mistakes non-native speakers will make and helps the teacher to proactively work out reasons for correcting the learner.
