Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit exposed the 8 parts of speech including nouns, pronouns, adjectives, adverbs, verbs, articles, prepositions and conjunctions. It also talked about harder topics like gerunds and infinitives, which are nouns \"disguised as verbs.\" I learned about the terms \"indefinite\" and \"definite\" articles. I knew them but I didn't know they were divided that way. I also learned that students confuse subject and object pronouns. This unit discussed the different kinds of conditional speech that exist within the English language. It also talked about the difference between direct and indirect speech, and the specific rules to use when changing direct speech into indirect speech. The unit also gave some excellent examples for how to teach these difficult concepts to students in a classroom, such as role playing and completing unfinished conditional sentences.
