Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Troubleshooting was more a less a summary of the difficult situations that teachers are more likely to encounter in the classroom and it also proffers ways to dealing with them. They were tabulated into different category of sub-headings ranging from: the first lessons, warmers, different levels, large classes, when and when not to allow native languages to reluctant students and to the difficulties with listening text. The most helpful parts of this unit were the activities and the details in which they were described. They will bring fun and excitement to the classroom and are also great ways to break the ice when meeting a new student or class. Another helpful tip was to point out that the teacher should be aware of cultural differences when gesturing or miming and that in some cultures certain cues may be considered offensive.
