Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This was probably the most difficult unit of all so far but I found it more interesting than the rest! I have learned about the importance of word pronunciation and that it should be integrated in a lesson plan because students need to be taught this aspect just as all other aspects of English. This unit has been very educational and made me realised that beneath the language there is something even greater that compounds it.This unit focuses on the past tenses of English language. There is a big distinction between the form, usage and purpose of these different tenses. However, many learners of English are often presented with difficulties of understanding these tenses and how to choose which one is the most appropriate. The teacher should be armed with a number of spoken and oral activities that target the most problematic areas of past tenses.
