Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

The content of unit 17 is equipment and teaching aids. I have learned the basic principles for the use of boards, IWBs, overhead projectors, visual aids, worksheets, cassette recorders, Cd players, Videos, DVDs, video cameras, dictionaries, course books, resource books, photocopiers, computers. I've also learned about different online resources like dictionaries online, learning and teaching resources online, media websites, etc.In this unit, I learned about some perspectives and choices about evaluation and testing. Though most schools will have a set system in place as to how the teacher is required to evaluate the students (most commonly, short progress tests throughout the course and then a longer final test at the end), there are many ways to evaluate a student, including tutorials, evaluations by the students themselves, and other sorts of testing.
