TEFL in China (Tianjin)

The first thing I've learned is that Test and evaluations are a necessity when it comes to grading, grouping and following students' progress. I found the various exams that one has to take in order to study English at an institution very interesting. I was however surprised that some teachers are not in favour of formal testing because they see it as attest of memory rather than actual knowledge. All in all this was a nice module!Another great verb tense revision unit. I liked the clear outlines of what each tense is used for and the examples. Again, the teaching ideas were very helpful for me as I sometimes struggle to find interesting ways to teach and practice the tenses. The unit also helped me differentiate between \"going to\" and \"will\" which I feel are very similar in meaning - or at least, are used interchangeably by many native English speakers.
