The job

Giving oral English lessons - games, activities etc - to students aged 5 to 12 years of age.

Shiajiazhaun, Heibei.( two hours forty minutes from Beijing)

This unit provides a general overview of the whole course and thus makes one curious and motivated to continue the studying. It gives also necessary basic information in order to effectively cover the coming units (for example, acronyms used throughout the course, the definition of a young learner which is appropriate for this particular course, the career opportunities which one may expect after completion of the course etc.)This unit was quite brief although I still did learn from this unit. Honestly there's not much to say about this unit because it was generally very straight forward to learn. Learning that there are benefits to both created and authentic materials to me was very crucial considering that some methods used in classrooms, looking back are often created and barely authentic but I do understand now that it is difficult to use both.
