Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This is a difficult unit that introduces pronunciation. This is something that we English speakers know instinctively but not objectively in the sense that we can write it down for a third party. Therefore, it is good to have a system to teach others. The use of stress and intonation can help a foreign speaker to have the correct rhythm and emphasis, and the phonetics can be a way to help a student figure out how to say a word. This unit explains in detail the auxilary verbs and passive forms in detail. Here we also see in brief the phrasal verbs and relative clausses.in english the most common modalk verbs are can, could, may, might, shall, should, will, would, have to.In english, we have the passive and the active voices.through the examples presented in this unit i come to fully understand modals verbs very well and how they are being used in English.
