Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

I already knew a lot about tenses due to teaching them for 2 years previously. I find it is always a great idea to brush up on grammar and go over the tenses since they are so difficult for students to understand. It is vital that teachers are completely aware of how to explain tenses completely and simply for students to understand. I feel like this unit explained the tenses simply which is useful for teaching them.Conditionals are an important way to communicate complex thoughts. They take five main forms: zero, first, second, third, and mixed. It is important to make it clear to the students the differences between these forms; however, these differences can often be very confusing, so special attention needs to be paid to them. Similarly, reporting speech can be tricky for students to grasp, but through practice is possible.
