Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

In all cases there is a need to troubleshoot certain problems as and when it arises. In this unit it helps me to see how teachers can troubleshoot situations that may arise with classes conducted. It is important for a good rapport between teacher and student. Hence teachers need to tackle situations effectively so that the students will continue to find joy in the language learning and benefit from it.This unit covers the different aspects of speaking and writing, what to pay attention to and how to teach them both effectively. It also covers the use of games in the classroom and gave examples of what kind of games that can be used. I learnt that speaking can be taught with various activities (controlled, guided, creative communication) and the things to pay attention to when teaching writing skills.
