Phonetics is a very necessary part of the teaching English process. Sometimes it is neglected by instructors due the complexity and variety. Even though the difficulties to approach the topic we as teachers have the mission to emphasis this matter in our lessons. Whenever it is possible I push my students to ready to each other. By recasting I can teach them the appropriate pronunciation.I feel as though my understanding of the english language is growing especially through learning how non-english speakers need to be taught. This unit gave me a clear perspective on how the english language may come across to non-english speakers which will in turn help me teach better. This unit has made me excited to begin teaching and using all the skills we are learning in the course.
