From unit 7, there are four basic skills in any language, firstly, reading and listening are receptive skills, additionally, speaking and writing are productive skills. However, I learn some specialist skills (predictive, scanning, skimming, detailed information and deduction). It is really helpful for me to know how to guide my students for starting to read content and find out the information.This section was very self explanatory, where it was very repetitive of the different rules of present tenses; simple, perfect, and perfect continuous. I felt that I have learnt the different present tenses and how they are used in different situations to convey different meanings in regards to time the person states the action was completed in comparison to when the person is speaking about it.
