Canada Frontier International Language School is a Canadian owned private Language training center that caters to students ranging from 4 to 18 years old and also to adults. The main language offered is English, followed by Spanish and French. We have regular opportunities for TEFL qualified teachers who want to develop their teaching skills.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Bachelors Degree or higher

· Possess at least 120 hrs TESOL, TEFL, CELTA or the like

· Teaching experience sought

· Passport holders from English speaking countries only( as per Chinese government regulation)

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

In this unit, I learned the qualities that make an effective teacher as well as the roles that teachers play in the classroom setting. I also learned about the different types of learners. While younger learners may be more open to learning and less hesitant, they do have a shorter attention span than adult learners. This unit also introduced me to the various stages of language learning.In this section, I expanded my knowledge of the ESA method introduced in Unit 3. I feel confident in planning future classes where I need to teach new English vocabulary, grammar and functions. I reviewed the various ESA strategies: straight arrow, boomerang, and patchwork. All three are very important in being able to teach a variety of students depending on their English language level.
