Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit was particularly informative. It was good to learn about the structure of lessons, and how each lesson should include all three elements. It is difficult to do in my situation, as most other subjects rarely use the Activate portion of the lesson, but I think it is probably the most important part. I would like to think of more games or other ways to run in the study section, other than just worksheets. These two videos demonstrated the difference that the teacher's attitude and preparation makes when teaching a lesson. In the first lesson it is clear that the teacher felt superior and did not properly plan for the lesson. As a result, the students were disengaged and did not understand the material. However, the second video demonstrated that the teacher had a positive attitude and was prepared for the lesson.
