Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit covered the many aids and equipment that are available to English teachers. The pros and cons of each were explored, and then a ton of links to relevant websites were given. While I didn't learn a lot of new information, I thought it a necessary survey of this area and a reminder of some advantages and disadvantages of various aids, equipment, and resources. Also, I'm thankful for Google.This unit focuses on teaching productive skills, speaking and writing. Unit 8 differentiates between accuracy and fluency exercises, what techniques should be used to teach the two, and when such techniques should be utilized according to the ESA model. The unit also explains the best practices for leading a creative speaking activity, as well as the components that make for a strong writing exercise.
