Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Unit 7 is similar to Unit 3 in that both units show how to apply teaching methods and techniques in class but unit 7 shows a indepth approach for it deals with specific language characteristics namely, vocabulary, grammatic structure and functions. It has been helpful because it has provided depth to what will actually be expected of me, as a teacher, to ensure that students grasp the language. This unit goes over the ways teachers can track the progress, retention and previous knowledge of English. By using student evaluations, tests and tutorials you can get feedback to see where students need improvement and to take stock of how far they've progressed. The unit also discusses the external tests English learners can take in order to achieve job and academic placement or citizenship.
