For someone with English as their first and primary language speaking in different tenses comes natural, which is why I believe the book taught differences can be intimidating and even frustrating.We learned about the four past tenses, simple, continuous, perfect, perfect continuous. We learned the definition of their uses and their individual structure in positive, negative, and question forms. We practiced verb conjugation and went over irregular verbs. They simply need to be memorized. Each section went over how a teaching activity might go and ways to explain these concepts to our students.
