Unit 20 covers six problem situations that every teacher is sure to encounter during the course of their career. The emphasis is placed, as always, on providing tips, strategies and helpful advice for dealing with each of them.
Though short, this unit was as enjoyable and as beneficial as the others. Much of it is common sense but it's great to have all the potential problem situations brought together in the one place.This unit discussed lesson planning in the classroom. It talked about how you should not script our your lessons word for word but you should have a general idea of how your lesson will go. A good teacher should be somewhere in between completely scripted and completely flexible. This unit also gave good examples for lessons highlighting activities to use for the engage, study, and activate sections of an overall lesson.
