We cap our school roll at 80 students so you will find this a friendly and fun environment. Optional work exchange holidays possible to our sister school for winter ski trips etc in New Zealand. All new teachers will be provided with their own furnished office overlooking the tree lined streets of central Surfers Paradise. Take a 1 min stroll from our air conditioned modern school to the beach.

Help with working holiday visas and possible sponsorship for work visas.  We also have a teachers lounge with fresh coffee brewed for you each morning   Resources and teaching materials will be customized to each teachers particular needs and teaching style.  All genuine and enthusiastic people considered. Full time position. 9am to 3pm Monday to Thursday. Friday 9am to 12. To apply, contact us via e-mail at the address given on the job heading.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

In this unit I have established the difference between authentic and created materials and the pro's and con's of each. I have also seen how these can be used in a boomerang lesson shape and therefore how they can be adapted into the various ESA teaching techniques. I have learnt that while authentic materials are hugely beneficial for students, they need to be at a certain level to reap the most benefits.Getting sample lesson materials and learning about the advantages and disadvantages of the use of course books is very helpful. I have enjoyed looking about the websites given in this Unit and seeing what else is out there to help new teacher's. I feel it would be a big advantage to be able to choose the course books as the teacher, rather than being dictated to, as this will help with being more creative.
