Melbourne Language Centre was established in 1988 and has a proud history of providing international students with quality English language training. English language courses are offered from beginner to advanced levels. We have occasional opportunities for qualified TEFL teachers, particularly if you have experience teaching IELTS. For more information, send your resume to Chien Vu at the e-mail address given on the job heading.
Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.
The unit represents introduction to the English language grammar and it gives brief information about parts of speech. The reflected parts of speech are the following: nouns, adjectives, articles, verbs, adverbs, gerunds, pronouns, prepositions and conjunctions. The provided information is perfectly structured and can be easily absorbed. Also the provided information can be used as good reference material. This unit was an exploration into the complexities of the English Past Tense. Similar to the present tense, there are far greater nuances within the past tense than a native English speaker would probably even be aware of, and the intricacies in how and when we use said tenses, not to mention the many seemingly nonsensical irregular forms, makes this an incredibly difficult tense to master, much less teach.
