Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Wow! This course was a real eye-opener. It helped me to understanding phonemes and syllabication much better than I did before. It also had helpful tips on when is most appropriate to teach phonemes and gave good strategies on how to teach it. I enjoyed learning about how different sounds In English are made,, this will help me to better help my students learn how to make sounds in English that are challenging for them. This unit covered intonation, stress, and articulation. I found it to be very challenging because there was so much new information. Additionally, I thought that the section on intonation was fascinating because as a native English speaker, I communicate in this way every time I speak without even realizing it. I feel that I will definitely be paying more attention to my own intonation and stress to see how I use it myself.
