Position: ESL Speech and Language Pathologist
The American International School Dhaka is building an Inclusionary Learning Center to meet the diverse needs of students within and beyond the AISD communities. We seek a passionate, innovative Speech and Language Pathologist to join our trailblazing team.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to create personalised interventions tailored to each child’s strengths and growth areas. Our centre fosters a holistic approach - supporting students' communication, academic, sensory, and social-emotional growth.
As our Speech and Language Pathologist, you will:
Conduct purposeful, fun, and engaging assessments to understand each student's unique needs
Collaborate with our exceptional teachers and specialists to develop imaginative intervention plans
Build trusting relationships with students and families
Equip students with strategies to unlock their communication potential
Unleash your creativity in crafting personalised small group and 1:1 sessions
See the spark in students’ eyes when they grasp a new communication skill
Use your passion for advocacy to champion students’ needs across our school
Grow professionally through ongoing training on innovative techniques

Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Proven experience working with Pre-K-12 students with diverse communication needs.
TEFL/TESOL, CTEYL and Diploma qualifications will be considered.
