Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This was the most difficult unit! This unit would have been much easier to understand if I had the online tutor. Also what was helpful as a native speaker, I would read out loud the sentences and I could figure out for myself what sounded to be the correct answer. As a native speaker we have the ability to do this. I think what would be helpful to this lesson is the unit to provide more examples of the different types of sentences. This lesson gave much attention on the use of auxiliary verbs which, mainly to express different ideas which comprises the following; ability, advice, obligation, probability, and permission/prohibitions. There were also lessons on the use of passive voice in tenses, relative clauses and phrasal verbs. The illustration were typical of what teacher are supposed to demonstrate to students in their classes, though with more elaborations.
