Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.
Honestly, the phrasal types are quite difficult to understand. The rest of the sections were quite simple in terms of transitioning passive voice. In my opinion, I think there could be a bigger section on the phrasal types that includes more examples. As this is the final grammar component of the course, I think all the sections gave an adequate overview of the basic grammar functions students must learn. In this course I have learnt the following : 3 way to assess a student's language skills, why teachers should allow evaluation by the students, different types and functions of tests and the various English language skills test. In my opinion, periodic progress tests are essential to check the progress of students. I was also surprised that the TOEIC was problematic and not a true test of English competence.
