In this unit, I learned the importance of planning for both individual lessons and lesson sequences. They allow you to create a template for the lesson schedule, list of activities and create objectives for both the students and teachers. A lesson plan shouldn't be a script; it should provide an overview that allows for flexibility. You can review the lesson plans at the end of each class to chart your progress as a teacher.Unit 16 covers the different conditional and reported speech structures. This is a very useful overview, since it gives a clear scope of what we strive to help our students understand and use in the long run: it shows us the path for these two structures. I would have liked all the different future tenses to be included in the direct - indirect speech conversions, but I do understand it would make it substantially more complex.
