Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit talks about teaching special groups. I've learned techniques to teach individual students especially in a one-on-one session. I think it's important identify the levels of your students in the beginning of the school year because it makes it easier for the classroom teacher to group the ESL students. This unit also introduced teaching business English and how teaching this can happen in number of ways. The unit is based on the two ESA demonstration lessons. One lesson is being taught effectively, while in the other lesson the same teacher is deliberately making a number of different errors. Having absorbed previous units of the course it is quite easy to recognize a bad and good lesson and identify all the teacher’s mistakes. It’s a good example of how we should teach and what mistakes we should avoid.
