We are currently seeking an experienced English and Social Studies - Generalist teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching middle school and junior high school students using the United States of America curriculum.
The American School of Benguerir, a sister school of the American School of Marrakesh and the American School of Tangier, is an independent college preparatory school located in Benguerir, Morocco. ASB nurtures academic excellence through a love for learning. Our rigorous and balanced curriculum with a strong language program prepares students for a rapidly changing global society.
ASB offers an American education based on the AERO standards (American Education Reaches Out). All subjects are taught in English. Students are also introduced to Arabic and French as of Preschool.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- TEFL/TESOL certificate preferred- Minimum of 2 years' experience teaching middle school students- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners- Proficient in technology integration within classroom instruction
