Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit of grammar was focused on conditionals and reported speech. It was very difficult! I don't think I have ever studied these grammar rules before. It seems like it would be quite difficult to teach these aspects of English grammar to an English language learner. I think these rules of grammar would need to wait until the student is quite fluent in English. I myself need to review these concepts and rules. In Unit 3 : Course Development, I was made aware of the different types of syllabus designs and what they are specifically used for. For example, the structural syllabus is used for explaining the complexities of grammar. Within this unit, I also now know some of the different types of assessment tests and what functions they are used for when testing for language proficiency and measuring the efficacy of my syllabus.
