Student ages start at 5 years old and continue through all primary and secondary levels. We also run conversation groups for adults which typically range from B1 to C1 levels. The contract is for a maximum of 22 teaching hours a week. Group sizes are a maximum of 8 for young learners and 10 for exam preparation classes. There are no early morning or weekend classes and all lessons take place at the academy minimising teacher travel time!
At The English House we are committed to providing both professional and personal support to all our teachers so that you can feel quickly at home both in and out of the classroom. To this end, in addition to providing advice on teaching materials and activity ideas we will also help you to find the best accommodation, open a bank account and register with a local doctor.
Qualifications
Native level speaker (C2 level minimum)
Eligible to work in Spain (EU passport and/or Spanish residency)
Minimum of 1 year classroom teaching experience
TEFL/TESOL preferred
Salary and Benefits
1400-1500 euros gross per month (dependent on experience)
