Florence is the most famous city in one of the most famous regions of Italy: Tuscany. Centrally located, it offers easy access to all transportation and the natural landscape is dotted with wineries, quaint hill towns, and unforgettable countryside—like the Chianti area. The city symbolizes the birth of the Renaissance with household names like Michelangelo, Botticelli, and Donatello. Art and architecture are everywhere you go. From sophisticated Italian cuisine to street food, there is no shortage of delicious eating experiences—and don’t forget Italian ice cream: gelato! Florence sweetly reminds you of what it was like hundreds of years ago, and the city and people make it easy to feel Florentine.
The Florence city center is a UNESCO heritage site. You should of course visit museums, gardens and churches, but you should also explore the city on foot. Florence is a small Renaissance city; you can walk from one end to the other in 30 minutes. The Via Lingua Florence training center is in downtown Florence, surrounded by stunning architecture, shopping, outdoor cafés and restaurants.
