Brittany is a freelance travel writer and avid photographer with a love of coffee, hiking and nature. Originally from Madison, Wisconsin, she worked in marketing for 2.5 years for Fortune 100 clients like Verizon and AT&T. But in 2017, she decided to quit her job, get TEFL certified, and teach English in South Korea.
While in Korea, she fell in love with travel blogging and sharing her TEFL and travel experiences for aspiring EFL teachers on her personal website life of brit. After two years of teaching in Korea, she moved on to teach in Vietnam for a summer, and then to backpack Asia for six months before saying goodbye and heading back to the US.
Today, she’s location independent and continues to freelance write, teach English online, and share helpful teaching guides and travel tips for solo and budget female travel in Asia and beyond.
