Our standard 120-hour TEFL course results in a qualification that is welcomed by schools and language centers all over the world. By the end of the course you will have covered a wide range of important subjects that are designed to prepare you for your first teaching job, wherever it is located. Roughly half of the course covers topics related to essential teaching skills such as lesson planning, material design, and teaching methodologies. The rest of the course looks at language awareness subjects including English grammar and phonology. The course is divided into 20 units that are studied using materials accessed via our online training platform.

Want to teach English online?
If you already know that you want to teach English online after the course, or at some stage further down the line, you should consider our 170-hour TEFL course with online specialization. With this option you get the same course as above, with the added bonus of a 50-hour course that solely focuses on the unique online teaching environment. To start, you work through the 120-hour online course that provides all the base knowledge you need and once complete you can start the online teaching course. The additional course is also studied online via our teaching platform and results in a separate online teaching certification.

This option starts with the standard 120-hour course that provides the base of knowledge required by all EFL teachers. You then study the 250-hour Diploma in TESOL which involves independent research and results in a high-level qualification that can often lead to more exclusive jobs and a higher salary. All sections of the course are completed online and come with online tutor support for the duration of your studies. As this option includes the initial 120-hour course it is open to any trainee regardless of their experience level.
