Based on their use and functions, words are categorized into several types or parts of speech. This article will offer definitions and examples for the 8 major parts of speech in English grammar: noun, pronoun, verb, adverb, adjective, conjunction, preposition, and interjection.This unit starts with the basics in a classroom. The attributes of a good teacher and a good learner. I was introduced to the types of learners and what motivates them which was something very interesting. I think the unit can be made more fun, at the moment it seems too direct and the tone of the language can be boring sometimes, but overall it's enhancing. So far I have enjoyed it.
