This Unit was a bit challenging for me, but I learnt quite a lot. I was taught the proper positioning of the mouth in forming certain words, I was taught phonetic symbols and pronunciations,articulation and intonation. Most importantly I learnt how to teach students Pronunciation and Phonology. This lesson was very useful to me ad will be very useful to my students in the future.this unit is specifically about teaching pronunciation and phonology. this unit also talked about stress and gave examples on stress on first syllable, stress on last syllable,stress on penultimate syllable, stress on ante-penultimate syllable and compound words. this unit also teaches about the phonemic alphabet.this unit also made me to understand more about the phonemic sound.
