I liked learning about the different types of tests that teachers can use to challenge, place, and help students through their understanding and apprehension of English. While I find standardized testing daunting and usually problematic, I believe their are very good parts of this unit to show that testing isn't always simply stamping \"smart\" and \"dumb\" on individual students.This unit gave a general rundown of English grammar regarding nouns, verbs, articles, conjunctions, and so forth. Having studied many other languages, I have learned that it is much more interesting to study foreign languages' grammar than to review my own. I can see why English is so confusing to non-native speakers, given that we use the same word in different tenses sometimes!
