This lesson was nice in being able to actually see the examples in action. It's interesting to think about how I have had teachers who fit into both examples in my life and have disliked/liked them in accordance to the example they fit. It was a good reminder of just how much a teacher's attitude can change an entire classroom and how important it is to avoid belittling students.I could learn from this unit about books and materials to be used in class with my students. I could realize the difference between authentic and created materials and both advantages and disadvantages and the advantages, disadvantages and options related to course books and how to choose them. I could also see different ideas for activities and how to explore materials in class.
