Geoff has been in China for some time and decided to take the course to take advantage of his business background in China. He found the course to be challenging but rewarding with a good combination of video tutorials and online reading.
Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.
This unit covered some of the different groups of students that an ESL teacher could encounter during their career. Students can be grouped by age, language ability, or motivations. The characteristics of the group should be considered when choosing material, methods, classroom, and attire. The benefits and challenges of multilingual and monolingual classes were covered, as well.in this unit, I learned how to plan my lessons, I learned its importance and basic principles of lesson planning and what should be included in it. I also went over the model format of lesson planning which would help to improve mine.in addition, I revised the ESA, and read examples of how to engage my students, how they study , and how to have an active session with my students.
