This unit focuses on a variety of issues relating to the four different language skills that students need to learn and practice in the classroom, i.e. speaking, writing, reading and listening. It looks at the importance of each individual skill, how to structure a suitable lesson to address each subject and the relevance of accuracy versus fluency within the context of a lesson.Past tense has always been a little more confusing to me than others, so this section was actually quite nice. It does a good job of explaining differences between usages. I have a tendency to mislabel past verb tenses, so I am certain that I will be revisiting this section in particular. As an aside, sometimes the fifty-word minimum is difficult to reach when I have less to say.
