Equipment and teaching aids can make a lesson more interesting and efficient. They allow students of non-native teachers to listen and watch authentic materials. Cameras and microphones are also extremely useful in evaluating students' performance by their teachers or by themselves. What's more, teaching aids make teachers' work simpler and give them time to monitor the students.Authentic materials will be a great tool to spice up the learning environment, potentially in the elicit phase of the class to help engage the students. Getting to know the students will also be a key part in selecting the authentic material which will appeal to their interests. In my experience as a learner however, course books offer better structures for the learning process.
