Founded in 2016, Triangle English has opportunities available for qualified EFL teachers from abroad. Our goal is to teach English using effective, fun and engaging methods and activities, with the special edge of having it being taught by foreign English teachers from around the world. We teach students of varying skill levels, from near-beginners who are learning to speak for the first time, to conversationalists who want to improve their fluency, to students seeking to increase their IELTs and TOIEC scores. Our teachers hail from a variety of nationalities and we encourage diversity. The company consists of over thirty staff (both expats and locals), with multiple branches based in District 9 of Sai Gon (Ho Chi Minh City), Viet Nam.
The starting rate for this is $25 / lesson (teachers typically get 2x classes/night, up to x6 days per week). We provide paid training, lesson material, and assistance with various things since we're a positive group of people and hire as much for attitude as for aptitude. The ideal candidate for this job would be:
REQUIREMENTS:
• TEFL / TESOL / CELTA or equivalent
• Age 20+
• Responsible attitude towards constructive criticism
• Teaching experience not necessary. We train new staff and re-train existing staff.
• It is not required to be a native English speaker.
• Planning to stay in Sai Gon for 6+ months
• Living in District 2 or nearby (we have teachers living in D3, Phu Nhuan, and Binh Thanh).
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Starting Rate at $16-20/hr (depending on qualification)
• Student Age: adults; typically 18-30
• Class Time: 6:00pm – 9:00pm (18:00-21:00)
• Class Size: 16 pax
• Various other paid event/activities for the center
• Training and lesson materials provided
• We can sponsor 1 Year Visa for the teachers who want to stay with us for 1 year (value around $400).
