This section is all about lesson plans. It offers a template for a generic lesson plan, explains that it's more important to write down ideas and a general outline that it is to have a regimented lesson plan, and offers an example of a completed lesson plan for reference. I like that the book emphasizes that it's important to be flexible and to not rely too heavily on a specifically laid out lesson plan.This sections touches on receptive skills and how important they are to a student. I found this profound. I have always been of the opinion that it is better to listen than talk. Developing listening skills is a concept that has never crossed my mind though. It seems like something people are born with. I suppose no matter the level of proficiency you are gifted with, there is always a way to improve it.
