Teach English to children and adults in their homes and offices in Valencia, Venezuela. A room and most meals are provided plus some money enough to cover basic expenses. Native speakers and college graduates only. No medical insurance or airfare provided. Family environment. Small business. Weekends off. Valencia is located 45 minutes away from the beach. We have hired through internet for 8 years now, with a total of approximately 40 teachers (only 2 or 3 at a time) hired so far, from countries such as Canada, USA, UK, South Africa, New Zealand, Australia and Ireland.

This unit deals with managing the classroom both in terms of discipline and being able to get the best out of your students. Classroom management is a vital component and how to manage effectively is a very difficult skill.I found the section on responding to problem behaviour to be very useful as I am teaching young students. Focusing on the behaviour and not the student is the biggest lesson I will take from this unitOne of my weaknesses has always been creativity in making new classroom activities, especially games. The information from the chapter will really help me improve this aspect of my teaching. I've found that though in teaching business English it is very important to maintain a certain level of formality, students also crave doing fun activities that break the tedium at the office, so games are actually excellent to use.
