Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

I found this unit to be quite strange and hard to understand mainly due to having to express all this mostly audio information through written text. Also the focus on the biology of making sounds was kinda odd and I'm not sure how that will help in my future teaching of english. Regardless this is a unit I will definitely need to look back on a number of times to fully digest the information providedThis unit taught me about teaching pronunciation and phonology. I learned about the two most commom intonation patterns, rise/fall and fall/rise. I enjoyed all of the techniques covered in this unit and advice on when to teach pronunciation. I was somewhat familiar with some of the places of articulation, but I was really interested in that section of the unit as well as the manners of articulation.
