Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit covered course books and materials. I learned about the differences between (and advantages and disadvantages of) authentic materials and created materials. I learned how to modify the course book that I use. Also, in the event that I get to pick out the course book that I want to use in my classroom, I learned about key features to look for, such as price, availability, and design. In this lesson, we learned about modifications that we can make for various groups of learners: the very young, total beginners, and business learners. One piece of material that I would have found helpful here is how we should engage in classrooms where we are not the only teacher or we are acting as an assistant to another teacher, especially a teacher for whom English is a second language.
