Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Ä°n each new teaching position a teacher will be faced with meeting a number of new classes for the first time these classes are vital for the teacher to establish rapport with the students. There are number of activities that the teacher can use for these purposes, Questionaire survey, the teacher can let the students interview each other using a pre set questionarie and then feed back to the class. So far through this course Unit thirteen has been the most difficult for me. The unit starts out by explaining the different intonations in the English language and then gets into different ways to teach them. Then the unit explains which syllables to stress on which words in sentences. The most challenging, but oddly the most fun part of the unit, in my opinion, was the section on phonetic symbols.
