“I Speak English” International Language Centre, the biggest language school in Yakutia with native speakers, requires one enthusiastic and responsible EFL teacher to join our friendly and supportive team for a full academic year contract (October, 2018 until middle of August, 2019). It is a great opportunity for TEFL qualified teachers of all levels of experience to develop professionally in a well-established, friendly and supportive school as we are dedicated to the learning of both our students and the teaching staff. We offer regular training sessions and support in all areas of teaching.
ABOUT THE POSITION
“I Speak English” International Language Centre was opened in 2012. Currently there are 3 branches in Yakutsk with over 1,000 students ranging from 3 years old to adults, and we continue developing and making success in teaching English. All the Centre staff speaks English and they are always ready to help with any questions for foreigners.
We are looking for an ESL Teacher who is:
-CELTA, TESOL (or equivalent) qualified native level speaker of English
-Teaching experience: 1 year
-Experience of teaching both young learners and adults
-Communication Skills
-Flexibility and adaptability
-Ability and desire to work as part of a team
-Enthusiastic, dynamic in class and well-organised teacher
LOCATION
Yakutsk is the capital of the national Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) - the biggest region of the Russian Federation which is located in the north-eastern part, Siberia. Yakutia is known for its climate extremes, with the coldest area in the northern hemisphere. Almost all the continental territory of Yakutia is a zone of permafrost. But we always can find eventful and interesting leisure time even in -45°C.
Cold, heat, rich culture, living and breathing traditions – nowhere else you will find as many interesting things to explore as here.
