Since the removal of the Iron Curtain back in 1989, TEFL jobs in Poland have been on the increase year after year. Add the fact that many Polish people now work in the UK, or work within Poland with companies in the UK, and you can begin to appreciate the number of TEFL jobs in Poland. The pay is relatively high compared to the cost of living, but on an international scale, the pay is quite low. However, unlike other locations in Europe, such as Spain or Italy, the number of experienced teachers is much less and as a result newly qualified teachers can quite easily access jobs Teaching English in Poland.
